The Chapman CFM Range of Tractor Mounted Flail Mowers are Heavy Duty in construction and built for work. Suitable for use on compact tractors from 25- 50hp and designed for cutting dense vegetation & overgrowth. Hydraulic side-shift features as standard, perfect for working around trees and other obstructions with ease. Available in 1.5m (5’) and 1.8m (6’) cut widths.

Suitable for both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hitches to meet your tractor requirements with a cutting height of 25-100mm – perfect for smallholders & estates. An options of 1.5m or 1.8m working widths are available. Hydraulic side-shift function is fitted to the CFM Series as standard, with a maximum offset of up to 350mm, perfect for working around trees and other obstructions with ease.

The CFM Series has a adjustable rear roller with multiple positions, perfect for when cutting different types of material to suit different working conditions to adjust cutting height.

FETF GRANT OPEN NOW FOR CFM180

The CFM180 is now available for grant funding with the new Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) for 2024 for all registered businesses within England. Full details of the fund and how to apply can be found here: FETF Grant Funding Information The Productivity portal is open NOW running from 6 March and 17 April 2024. This application window will close at midday on 17 April 2024.

The CFM180 falls under Productivity, Code Number: FETF200. The grant amount towards the CFM180 is £1,440 off the RRP.

Unique Rotor Design

Our innovative rotor design incorporates a solid 45mm diameter drive shaft right through the centre of the rotor with a structural grade 115mm diameter outer tube, onto which the flail lugs are welded in a spiral pattern.

This unique design transfers cutting power more efficiently from the engine to the cutting heads, giving a cleaner cut and better performance in tough situations. Furthermore the rotor incorporates double row spherical roller bearings for ultimate reliability.
